15-year-old boy allegedly crashes stolen scooter at West Lakes fast-food drive-thru

A 15-year-old boy has been charged after crashing a motor scooter at a drive-thru quick meals joint at West Lakes.

Employees on the drive-thru on Turner Dr grew suspicious after seeing {the teenager} battle with the scooter and crash.

They known as police simply after 6pm on Wednesday and police checked the 100cc Piaggio motor scooter’s registration quantity, which revealed it was stolen earlier within the day.

When patrols arrived, the youth dumped the scooter and walked off rapidly alongside West Lakes Boulevard.

He was stopped however refused to offer his title and handle. In the course of the arrest, he allegedly struggled and resisted the officer.

The Seaton boy was charged with unlawful use of a motorcar, experience unlicensed, refuse title and handle, plus resisting and hindering police. He was refused police bail and can seem within the Port Adelaide Magistrates Courtroom on Thursday.
