A CHARLIE Gibson objective proved the distinction as Mt St Michael’s gained the Catholic Secondary Schoolgirls’ Sports activities Affiliation Sports activities Minister’s Cup with a 1-Zero grand ultimate win over All Hallows.

Gibson scored late within the second half on Wednesday night time to clinch the 12-school event performed at Grange Thistle’s residence floor of Lanham Park.

Within the playoff for third, Lourdes Hill beat San Sisto 1-0.

All Hallows striker Sarah Burtenshaw gained the Golden Boot, whereas the award for crew spirit went to St John Fisher.

“The players should be proud of themselves and we should be excited in the quality of our next generation of female players coming through,” event organiser Maurice Sorbello stated.
